Pair of Monokey® side cases Trekker Alaska, 36+36 L

Pair of side cases Trekker Alaska 36+36 L made of 1.5 mm thick aluminum, available in natural or black painted finish. This choice ensures high structural solidity, mechanical resistance and corrosion resistance while keeping the overall weight low. Supplied with matching keys and a third cylinder to install on the top case if present.
Equipped with the MONOKEY® coupling system, they allow opening and release from the frame using a single key and lock. They are compatible with the tubular side case holders PL, PLR, PLO, PLOR. For mounting on PL and PLR frames, two spacers, included in the package, must be inserted between the tubular frame and the mounting points.

Technical features:

• WIRELEASE® SYSTEM: the release of the cases from the side frame occurs by rotating an external knob equipped with a cable system (Patented), positioned directly under the Security Lock. To attach the case, a simple pressure is sufficient.
• HOLD IT EASY® SYSTEM: a hook system (Patent Pending) that allows the case to tilt without completely detaching from the support frame. It prevents accidental drops and facilitates lid opening, loading and unloading even in the presence of a bulky top case.
• The Hold It Easy system is not compatible with some Monokey frame models (the system is included with the case and supplied detached to avoid transport issues; the customer may choose whether to install it).
• The lid can open completely without the use of straps or retaining cables, thanks to the robustness and geometry of the rotation hinge.
• Ergonomic handle integrated into the rotation hinge of the lid, on the opposite side of the opening and release mechanism.
• Four integrated strap loops in the monolithic lid structure, shaped with gradual plane changes that give the case an elegant appearance.
• All rivets are equipped with gaskets and sealed with silicone to ensure maximum water resistance even in the most demanding conditions.

GIVI guarantees a water resistance level corresponding to heavy rain; the cases are tested by simulating rainfall with a flow rate greater than 20 L/min.
