On 25 May 2018, GIVI Headquarters located in Flero, in the province of Brescia, welcomed the
Honda LCR team, including its founder Lucio Cecchinello and the MotoGP riders Cal Crutchlow and Takaaki Nakagami.
The event was coordinated by Roberto Ungaro; the motorcyclist and journalist specialising in the world of two wheels. Roberto introduced the meeting between the riders and the extended GIVI family who, together with the owner Giuseppe Visenzi, who founded the company 40 years ago, his daughter Hendrika and over 130 employees, represent the beating heart of this manufacturer of motorcycle accessories.
During the roundtable discussion, several questions were addressed to Cal Crutchlow, who made headlines with an exciting performance in the last Grand Prix of Le Mans, when, despite sustaining an injury during qualifying and being rushed to hospital, still managed to clinch a top ten position, demonstrating his competitive character and resilience in order to achieve his objectives.
During the meeting, the Honda LCR team spoke about future projects that they foresee in MotoGP and forthcoming GIVI innovations for the coming year. It is in the desire to innovate that the ability to achieve significant goals resides.
The rendezvous with the GP riders caught the attention of the local press and motorcycle magazines, such as Elive Brescia TV, Bresciaoggi, Giornale di Brescia and Motorbox, who did not want to miss out on the opportunity to witness two prominent characters from the motorcycling world like Visenzi and Cecchinello together at the same time.
