Aerodynamic Innovation: The V49 AIR Top Case Revolution
Thanks to its innovative design and the patented WINGFLOW system, the result of in-depth design studies carried out by the R&D department directly in the wind tunnel, this top case aims to rewrite the rules of motorcycle aerodynamics, guaranteeing reduced vibration and noise and improved stability and aesthetic efficiency.
Its Monokey® fitting system and 49 litre capacity, big enough to hold two full-face helmets, put the V49 in the spotlight as the ideal solution for motorcyclists looking for equipment that combines high performance and unmistakable style.
The V49 AIR features the innovative Wingflow System, patented to reduce vibration and noise: four fins positioned on the sides of the top case, designed to reduce the air swirls and turbulence that a top case can create at the rear of the motorcycle. They channel the airflow to move faster and more smoothly.
The new lock of V49 Air increases the case’s user-friendliness, by adding a new 60° key position: by turning the key in this position, you can remove it from the lock and open the lid, to have what’s inside the case accessible at all times, without necessarily having to reinsert back the key. This new option is very handy during short trips, when quick access to the contents of the suitcase might be useful. However, in this position, it won’t be possible to detach the case from the plate, thus keeping the top case securely on the plate.
The innovative design of the V49 AIR was developed by GIVI's R&D Department using wind tunnel testing. Its sleek, aerodynamic lines are complemented by the four Wingflow System fins, which ensure excellent aerodynamic performance while adding a modern, cutting-edge style.

The GIVI V49 top case is durable, lightweight, and features a contemporary design, with a concrete focus on environmental sustainability.The main components of the top case are made with 30% recycled material, derived from recovered polypropylene plastics and reinforced with glass fibers.These materials ensure high construction quality, advanced technical details, and superior mechanical performance, with resistance up to twice as high as other similar recycled materials.
