The X-LINE motorcycle bag range brings to the road the technical and aesthetic choices developed by GIVI over the past two years—a period in which we strongly accelerated the evolution of our “soft” luggage solutions, expanding the lineup with seven product lines designed for enthusiasts seeking safe, convenient accessories for touring on their motorcycles.
X-LINE bags stand out for their refined overall design, the use of a high quality mix of materials (Polyester, TPU and Nylon), the presence of a removable internal waterproof bag to protect contents from rain, and excellent versatility. Less visible but just as important are additional features, such as high UV resistance of the outer shell, the use of materials compliant with REACH regulations, reflective inserts, and a non slip base.
The X-LINE range includes 3 cargo bags, two of which can be converted into backpacks, with expandable capacities of 20, 35, and 52 liters. These are joined by 3 tank bags featuring pre formed bases and lids with the Tanklock mounting system, two of which are designed exclusively for specific Maxi Enduro models (BMW, KTM, HONDA). Completing the lineup is a compact, universally compatible seat bag.
Below is a brief overview of the technical details of the seven X-LINE soft luggage products:
XL01 – Expandable cargo bag from 15 to 20 liters
Designed for any type of motorcycle used for “Grand Touring” or “Adventure” riding, the XL01 can be mounted on top loading side cases with strap loops, luggage racks, and passenger seats.
XL02 – Roll top cargo seat bag, expandable from 25 to 35 liters and convertible into a backpack.
Universally compatible with top cases featuring strap loops, luggage racks, and passenger seats. Extremely durable, it takes advantage of the high tenacity characteristics of 1200D W/R Polyester and Hypalon inserts. It attaches to the bike using the supplied straps.
XL03 – Roll top cargo seat bag, expandable from 39 to 52 liters and convertible into a backpack.
The XL03 is the most spacious X-LINE bag and is typically mounted on top cases with strap loops, luggage racks, and passenger seats.
XL04 – Tanklock tank bag, expandable from 15 to 20 liters.
Ergonomically designed (without interfering with riding) for BMW R1200/1250 GS/Adventure and KTM 1290 Adventure S and R models, the XL04 is a “pre formed” bag that must be paired with the specific BF _ _ flanges. Features include: a quick release magnetic map holder, drainage holes for water/humidity, an external pocket independent from the main compartment, a cable port compatible with the GIVI Power Hub system, a safety strap for the handlebar, and both a shoulder strap and carrying handle.
XL05 – Tanklock tank bag, expandable from 15 to 18 liters
Developed for all versions of the Honda Africa Twin (2016–2021), the XL05 must be paired with the BF25 specific flange. Its equipment, style, and materials follow the XL04 model.
XL06 – Tanklock tank bag, expandable from 15 to 20 liters
A universal model, designed to be paired with BF _ _ specific flanges, with the same technical features as the XL04.
XL07 – Expandable seat bag from 9 to 12 liters
Last but not least, the XL07 is designed to fit any type of motorcycle. In addition to the standard seat mounting, it can also be attached to top loading side cases with strap loops and to luggage racks. Features include: a reflective multi purpose elastic cord, internal mesh pocket, adjustable shoulder strap for cross body transport, and a carrying handle.
