The central GIVI headquarters and its branch in the Far East are symbolically celebrating their pearl wedding anniversary this year. In fact, on 28 April 2024, an immense gathering of almost 400 collaborators, enthusiasts and leading personalities from the world of motorcycling — coming from Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan and India — came together at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel & Convention Centre in the Malaysian capital for which it is named, to celebrate 30 years since the Brescia company first made its long journey to Asia.
The occasion was an opportunity to share the joy of the milestones that have been reached so far, and to provide the inspiration needed to keep following the path forged over these three decades: believing in internationalisation, while never losing sight of the unmistakably Italian DNA that characterises all GIVI-branded products.
Doing the honours were On Hai Swee, Managing Director of GIVI Asia, and Joseph Perucca, Overseas Operational Director of the GIVI Group. They were virtually joined on stage by the founder of the Brescia company, Giuseppe himself, alongside his daughter Hendrika and grandson Umberto, representing the Visenzi family in a surprise video message.
“We want to express our deepest gratitude to GIVI S.p.A. for its constant support throughout all these years”, reads the message of thanks sent to central headquarters in Flero in recent days, directly from the management of the Asian branch. “Your unwavering presence by our side has been an essential ingredient in our success and our growth”.
In typical GIVI style, the occasion was also the perfect opportunity to present the new aluminium “Matterhorn Monolock Top Case”, designed and created specifically for the eastern market, and boasting a capacity and construction quality that will be immediately appreciated by enthusiasts.
Now, the key phrase is onwards and upwards, in the hope that the next 30 years have as much satisfaction in store for us as the last!
